I AM A REFUGEE

 I AM A REFUGEE

Is it a crime or have I deceived myself? It was not my intention to become refugee but the circumstance constrained me. In my own land during the operation of the ethnic cleansing, I escaped from the gunfires and mass killings and gang rapes. I saw the child thrown into the fire, At the moment I felt there's no human rights in this gloomy world. while I reached at the ashore of the river I found a boat. I stepped over it, then the current of water and the winds carried me to the safety.

After the journey of so many days and nights. I barely found a foreign land where although nobody was familiar I got a heartily service of humanity. But I still have the shooked of the gunfires and bombs. The crueler drove me away from the land but they couldn't erased the memories of my ancestral land. I just fled for a shelter where I'm safe from brutalities and savageness. Surviving in the refugee camp like a chicken under the hutch.

The zone I dwell in landslides and soils eruption may happen anytime. No, I didn't not come to inherit you but I still dreaming of repatriation to my birthplace. To survive under the tarpaulins it is not my willingness Or destination. The monarchy is intolerable and unpredictable, sometimes says take the exit pass and sometimes says don't move without permission. I am helpless don't think that is my weakness. I have to heal my wounds. I'm not just hunger of the food like the domestic animals but I'm hunger of my rights and justice.

No, I'm not in search of an affluent life but I'm in search of a peaceful and dignified life, where I can survive peacefully and fearlessly. Neither I need an advanced city New York nor London. I just need my deserted mother land (Arakan) state of Myanmar. I'm no more here, you should make me to returned where I came from. They cannot share their Hills and lands anymore. Instead of letting me to build a retention wall here, Send me a place to where I belongs to. The world must not ignore that. Coz, I'm a human too like all of you.

A Shelterless Rohingya

A Shelterless Rohingya

In the dark night,

without a sound sleep,

And grizzling of the weather.

The drops of the heavy rain.

Like a sudden stone crashed,

over the uncovered head.

The current of the water,

Flowing unstoppingly.

It destroyed all in a short time.

The four pillars disappeared,

of the watched shelter.

Everything is spread,

Hither and thither.

No one there to be appear.

Helpless man with hopeless mind

floating in the deadly disaster.

He looked for the offsprings,

like a bird looks for the lost birdies.

By Swimming in the current of the tear.

The unexpected event made

the eyes tired of weeping.

Under the blue sky,

Often get to face a deadly fight.

It just to survive in a foreign land,

where landslide, floods and

fire incident happens anytime.

It really hurts like a boulder,

break the bones to ash.

No Land No Peace

No Land No Peace

By Abdu Rahman

Rohingya who born in a land
Where full of cruelness and brutalities
The partiality and discrimination incredible
The persecution and torturing intolerable,
The banishment occurred forcefully,
And arrived a place where not many wild animals willing to survive.
But the Rohingya staying consolingly,
who were deprived from many things
including the basic human rights.
The zone they live in landslides
and eruption of soils may happen anytime,
that’s the risk area.
As a human being everyone has some right
But they have not any.
Merely generosity is the weakness of them.
Nobody care but that’s the truth.
Neither peace and right there Nor here,
Sympathy is more but the aid and mercy is less.
Many dreams ruined,
many expectations not fulfilled.
Lack of security and protection
made dulled and obscured.
Having difficulty to pay bigger bribe,
and the specified time for travel pass of anywhere. With full of corruption, faced extensive torture,
forced to leave the land and to take refuge,
That’s the banishment with full of unwillingness.
Miserable condition made impotent,
Were persecuted arbitrarily
just for being a minority around the world.

The Broken Wings

 The Broken Wings

When the fear increase, the expectations crashed inside. Then I found nothing except
my broken one to fly over the trees. Sometimes I may use my arms to swim and the legs to work, Even the knees to crawl under the bushes.

I seldom use others when mine is not useful but it takes much time to repair the one again. Only somatic pain can hurt you much.
When I'm endanger then a few of them do me care. If I suffer, some of them emerge.

When I'm enlist, everyone try me to deprived. Sympathy is more than the aid. If I try to accommodate in peaceful manner, everyone is not satisfied. But I'm not fear of my foes when my confidence is certain.

There is no valley, no place to stay in.
Even not a refuge except my damaged nest.
I may find the good one not the genuine one.
I have to heal all my wounds and injury. Gradually decrease but no saying won't be happen again. If I get rejoined my broken one, Then I would like to fly till I find the destination.
